I forgot my passcode
Use your recovery key to set a new passcode. We cannot do this for you, because we never have your passcode or your key. After five wrong tries Parda makes you wait, from 30 seconds up to an hour. It never wipes your files.
I forgot my knock or word
Open Settings in Parda, choose Enter Recovery Key and type your key. Stealth mode turns off and the Private tab comes back. The room still opens with your passcode or Face ID.
I lost my recovery key
We cannot give you a new one. While you know your passcode, the room keeps working as before, but no backup can be restored without the key. If you lose the passcode too, nobody can open the room.
My hidden photos still show in Photos
iOS keeps the originals in Recently Deleted for 30 days after you hide them. Empty Recently Deleted in the Photos app if you want them gone sooner. If the check of a copy fails, Parda leaves that original alone.
The gallery is empty or shows only some photos
Parda shows what iOS lets it see. With limited access you get the photos you chose, plus a Manage button to change them. If access is denied, the app still works: photos you add by hand are encrypted inside the app and appear in the gallery. You can change this in iPhone Settings, under Parda.
How do I restore a backup?
A .parda file: open Settings in Parda, choose Restore from Backup and enter the recovery key of that backup. You need a room on this iPhone first. A restore adds items and never removes what is already there.
iCloud Backup: on the new iPhone, make a room, then restore from iCloud with your old recovery key. Restoring is always free.
I deleted the app
Your hidden files were deleted with it. If you have a .parda file, an iCloud Backup or an iPhone backup from before, you can restore them. A .parda file and iCloud Backup also need your recovery key. Without a backup we have no way to get them back.
iCloud Backup says it is unavailable
Check that you are signed in to iCloud on this iPhone and that your iCloud storage has room. The backup runs while the app is active, and Parda shows its real status in the backup screen.
Restoring a purchase
Open Settings in Parda and choose Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account.
Cancelling and refunds
Cancel in your Apple ID settings at least 24 hours before the period ends: open iPhone Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Apple handles refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com. If Pro ends, your files stay usable. Only adding past the free limit stops.
