Parda

Privacy Policy

Effective 6 November 2026

Parda collects no data. It has no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking SDKs, and we never receive your photos.

What we collect

Nothing. The app contains no third-party code, and we run no server for it, so your data has nowhere to reach us.

Where your photos are

On your iPhone. Files you move into the private room are encrypted on the device with Apple’s own CryptoKit. Search inside the room, Clean Up scans, suggestions and face blurring all run on the iPhone, and nothing is sent to us for analysis.

What each permission is for

Photos

Parda shows your library as a gallery, finds duplicates and moves the items you choose into the private room. It adds photos back to your library when you move them out. Parda still works without this access: you can add photos by hand through the iOS picker.

Camera

Used only when you take a photo or scan a document straight into the private room.

Microphone

Used only when you record a video straight into the private room.

Face ID

Used to open the private room, if you turn it on. iOS does the check, and Parda never receives your face data.

You can change any of these in iPhone Settings.

iCloud Backup

iCloud Backup is optional and stays off until you turn it on. It needs Pro. When it is on, already encrypted files go into the app’s private folder in your own iCloud account and use your iCloud storage. iOS does the upload, and the app has no network code of its own.

We cannot access these files. Without your recovery key nobody can open them, and that includes us. Turning iCloud off or deleting the iCloud data removes this backup.

Parda’s encrypted files are also part of your normal iPhone backup, which is a matter between you and Apple.

Sharing into Parda, and the widget

Files you send to Parda from another app are encrypted by the share extension and wait on your iPhone until you next open the room. The Home Screen widget shows one photo from your normal gallery, kept on the device. It has no access to the private room.

Purchases

Apple handles purchases. We never see your name, your Apple Account or your payment details.

What Apple shows us

Apple may show developers anonymous totals such as downloads, and crash reports if you chose to share them. We cannot connect these to you.

This website

This site uses no cookies and no analytics, and it loads nothing from other sites. The web server keeps ordinary logs (IP address, time, page requested) for a short period for security.

Writing to support

If you email us, we receive your address and your message, and we use them only to answer you.

Children

The app collects nothing from anyone, children included.
